Sunset Desert Picnic on Timlalin Dunes

Enjoy a peaceful and authentic Timlalin Sand Dunes sunset picnic, set high on the golden dunes where the desert meets the Atlantic Ocean. This unique experience combines beautiful scenery, traditional Moroccan hospitality, and a relaxing evening surrounded by nature.

After arriving at our base near Timlalin, one of our local guides will gently lead you up to the highest dunes. At the top, a cosy traditional setup will be waiting for you, featuring Moroccan carpets, comfortable cushions, candles, and a warm desert atmosphere.

Once you reach the picnic spot, sit back and enjoy the sunset while overlooking the dunes and the ocean. You will be served traditional Moroccan mint tea and local Moroccan sweets, while a small campfire creates a warm and intimate atmosphere around your seating area.

You will have plenty of free time to take photos, walk along the dune ridges, watch the colours of the sky change, and simply enjoy the peaceful silence and beauty of the landscape.

As the last light disappears and the evening atmosphere settles over the dunes, take your final photos and create unforgettable memories before your guide leads you safely back down to the base.

Note: Walking to the dunes takes approximately 10–15 minutes. If you prefer not to walk, you can choose our optional quad transfer and ride as a passenger. Please select the number of people who wish to use this service.
